Alife's, Inc. has begun operating a development workflow built on AI coding agents as our company-wide standard.
AI coding agents based on large language models such as ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot and others) are now systematically built into every phase of development — from requirements definition to design, implementation, testing and documentation. This lets us significantly shorten lead times compared with conventional approaches while guaranteeing code quality and maintainability above a defined level.
Specifically, automated design reviews, automatic test-case generation, refactoring assistance and automated documentation are built into each engineer's standard workflow. At the same time, we maintain a "human in the loop" setup in which code and design decisions proposed by AI agents are always reviewed by a human engineer, keeping responsibility for quality, security and maintainability clear.
Through these efforts, we are now able to deliver higher-quality results to our clients' projects with shorter lead times. We will continue to flexibly combine the latest AI technology with hands-on implementation skills, pursuing the best proposals and practices for our clients.
